how/when did they acquire the ability:
Force eaten, Dj's master son's friend found a devil fruit but he didn't didn't it work so he conviced Dj's master's son to make one of his workers eat it to see if it would work. Dj didn't want to eat it so it was force down her throat.

Weapons: Both twins carry a sword which they still haven't mastered but are able to use well enough to defend in a fight.

Personality:
Aj: Aj is the calm older brother of Dj who is very overprotective of his younger sister. He is more mature then his hyper younger sister, he sometimes gets annoyed with his sisters hair brain schemes, will only speak his mind if he feels like it. He will get angry over things if they are big problems, smaller ones he lets go. He is usually the quiet boy in the background that watches over his sister from the shadows most of the time.
Dj: Dj is the completey opposite of her brother, she rather dance around and sing at the top of her lungs then sit down and be quiet like him. She likes to be out there and random then someone that is readable. She is very immature about things and likes to act like a 5 year old then a 15 year old at times. She always speaks her mind and will stand for what she think is right.

Dreams and Goals: Aj: Aj wants to go back to his old master, the one who taught him many things and hope that he can forgive him for killing his son.
Dj: Dj wants to grow up and become a beautiful bride, but she feels that she will never out match many other woman's beauties.

Strengths: Aj: Aj is very skilled with a sword and is proud of being able to play a violin.
Dj: Dj loves to cook, she feels that even if she is not as strong as her crewmates are she can help out by feeding them. She also likes to boost their ego when their upset. (Examples when she called Alice a hottie because she believe Alice was still upset about Big Ma's death)

Weaknesses: Aj: Aj will lose his temper if anyone hurts his sister in anyway. (Example killing a man because he force Dj to do things she didn't want to do)
Dj: Dj may boost others egos, but she tends to not boost hers, she will find flaws in everything she does, looks, brains, etc. She may be happy on the outside but on the inside is a small wreck of emotions.

History: In the big city Aj and Dj grew up in a big house, their father worked for a rich family by being a body guard. When the twins turned 8, their father was killed when a man tried to kill the owner of the house, feeling sorry for the twins the owner offered them work at his house so they can still live there. At first they did odd jobs, then when they were 10 Aj asked the owner if he can become his body guard like his father was. The owner said Aj was still too young but will have the other body guards train him so when he was old enough he could be the body guard. Dj on the other hand started to learn how to cook by the houses chef, they enjoyed living in that big rich house. When the twins were 13 the owner's son dropped out of collage and came home, he was 21 and wanted nothing to due but drink, gamble and have women. Dj grew to have a slight crush on him because she thought he was cute, the owners son saw that and made Dj do things and bullied her because he thought of her as a play toy. When a year pass the owners son had a friend who was father was famous fishing business company owner who brought over a strange fruit. The friend stole it from his father and said it was a devil fruit and explained its powers. The owner's son was not convinced, so the friend said that he should get a worker of his father to eat it for them to prove it works. The owner son thought of Dj and made her come. At the time Aj was practicing the sword, he was getting better by the day, when he went to take a break one of the servants that was DJ's friend said that the owners son has Dj and when she past the room that they were in she heard Dj screaming. Aj ran up to the room and burst the door down to see that they had force Dj to eat the devil fruit and had beaten her to make her use her new powers. In a fit of rage Aj, who still had his sword on him, slash at the boys killing one in the process (the owners son). He quickly saw what he had done and grab Dj another sword and left the estate with her. The ran and hid in the forest for another year. When Comet and the others arrive they stumble upon Dj who beg them to heal her brother who had gotten sick. Veronica nursed Aj back to health, as a thank you Dj joined them as a cook, Aj followed his sister.
